About

I like to consider myself a lifelong learner. These days I spend most of my time working on large scale Cloud Native Data Centre Networks, using technologies such as:

  • Fortinet Fortigate, Cisco ASA and Juniper vSRX firewalls.
  • 3-Stage and 5-Stage Clos fabrics with VXLAN BGP EVPN.
  • Service Provider Technologies: MPLS, L2/L3 VPNs, IS-IS, MP-BGP, RSVP-TE, Traffic Engineering, CoS.
  • Network Automation: Ansible, Python, REST and JSON APIs, Git, Jinja2, YAML, Napalm, Nornir, Netbox.

I intend for this blog to be:

  1. A learning tool for myself, if I force myself to write about some technology I’m learning, it’ll solidify my understanding and my long-term retention.
  2. A source of revision of the technologies I’ve learnt overtime.
  3. A source of useful content that can help other people.
